SNOW DAYS!!!!!!

One of the perks to teaching is that you still get that feeling when looking at the TV during the news, hoping your school is closed. The best part is I get to spend more time with Amber and Simon. Simon seems to be doing well while watching Baby Einstein. Can you find "The Bill" in this Pic?

Back to work!

I did it!
I have returned to work this week and it was very hard. I love my work and the kids I get to teach, but I would rather be home with my new expanded family. While I have been at work Amber and Simon have been doing yoga. Amber is amazing and has adapted to solo parenting very well. Here are some the awesome photos of YOGA with the little man.

House work and other outings.

The BabyBjorn at work.

Today is laid back. I thought this would be a great time to use the BabyBjorn around the house. Simon loved it so much he took a nap the whole time I was working around the house.

Baby Yoga?

Yes we went to baby yoga. He worked on some stretches and movements to help promote growth and brain development. Does it work? I don't know, but the touch and interaction has shown to help develop a bond between babies and parents. Simon is sporting his tux, what a cutie! Amber isn't too bad ether. I am sooooooo lucky!

And the "Little" man of the hour is ... Simon!

Simon slept from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am then he was fed then back to sleep from 2:30 am to 6:00 am. That is eight and a half hours of sleep for Mom and Dad. Yesssssss!

What a great day!

Amber, Simon, and I went for a stroll on the Green Ways trails over by the Japanese garden. Simon did great even with the rough terrain we were on (a little off-roading). Amber got in a mile and a half of walking, then we were off to Tasia for some great Asian eating. We finished the outing with a trip to the store to buy some groceries. I would love to say we spent the rest of the day outside, but the truth is we took a long nap.
